Why I teach at WHCT:
I have had the pleasure to work with some members of WHCT, which led to an interest in offering archery as a course here. I like working with local groups in the Franklin area and want to contribute
in the effort put forth at WHCT. My experience at WHCT has been a true blessing in my life.
As an archery coach, I understand I have the role and responsibility to be the instructor, role model, support person, and most importantly, someone the student has put their trust in. I measure my success not by the score or wins of an individual or team, but by the measure of positive influence I have had on others and that I did my very best. My goal is to leave a legacy built upon a leadership style that demonstrated good character and inspired others to do their best, moreso than the technical skills I have passed on.
Why I teach Archery:
Archery has been a passion of mine for most of my life. It is this passion and love of the sport that inspires me to pass on my knowledge of archery through coaching. I have been blessed with an opportunity in life to not only do something I truly love, but to inspire and have a positive influence in other people’s lives. I believe coaching gives you the opportunity to help others achieve their personal best and build character by demonstrating core values of honesty, trust, integrity, respect, and responsibility. I currently hold a Level-4 Coaching Certification with USA Archery. I earned my Level-4 Coaching Certification directly under Coach Kisik Lee, Head Coach for the USA Olympic Archery Team.
