Why I teach at WHCT:
I love to watch students grow in their knowledge and abilities during the course of the school year. My husband and I have six children. I have homeschooled the youngest four for the past sixteen years and have taught at co ops / tutorials each year. I want to help and support parents on their homeschool journey by teaching classes that will help their students to flourish.
I believe learning should be an interactive, hands on experience.
I am passionate about going beyond the "read the chapter then take a test" style of learning.
It is my hope and desire that my students will catch that excitement.
I believe that learning can be exciting, but I also believe that hard work
and diligence have great rewards and they are a part of each class I teach.
As a professional photographer for many years, I find great joy in sharing something I love
and have experience in with the next generation.
Personal Finance has always been a part of my life.
My parents taught me from a young age the importance of saving money and spending wisely.
As a former stockbroker, I have enjoyed helping others over the years to be able to plan for a better
financial future by teaching them the importance of being intentional about their finances.
It is my desire to instill these important Biblical principles in our students.
