Why I teach at WHCT:
I love teaching and the students at WHCT. They have wonderful attitudes, and I enjoy investing my time and knowledge into their lives. With God’s grace, the small part I play in their education can help prepare them to answer for their faith in a manner worthy of the God who created language itself.
Simply put, education is all about the student. All pedagogy should be focused toward the student’s learning. I keep this firmly in mind as I craft the lessons and assignments for my classes. A student-centered approach is vital to any educational endeavor.
Why I teach these specific courses:
I teach these courses because I love English.
In an Information Age, clear and detailed writing is not only beneficial, but will become a necessity. I passionately believe good writing engenders good thinking, and Christian students need to excel at both. Ultimately, I teach these subjects because I love them and think they are vital to becoming a strong Christian.
